Peruvian Cuisine

Peruvian cuisine reflects local practices and ingredients including influences from the indigenous population, including the Inca, and cuisines brought in with colonizers and immigrants from Europe (Spanish cuisine, Italian cuisine, German cuisine), Asia (Japanese cuisine and Chinese cuisine) and West Africa. Without the familiar ingredients from their home countries, immigrants modified their traditional cuisines by using ingredients available in Peru.

Truly a special place! Excellent authentic ceviches and large rice based dishes. Tons of seafood in every portion. Live music when we were there this Sunday. More than one can eat in a single sitting. My fiancee and I will be back!

Looking for a nice portion of seafood for a decent price? This is def a place to try!

Came here to try their ceviche mixto. They gave me the option of ordering tilapia or cordon fish. Haven't been to any other restaurant that gives that option. I did come on a Friday afternoon and was the only customers there. Would like to return and see what a weekend is like. Loved the platano chips that are served when you are seated. Another plus is the beer options. I did find it a bit pricey for drinks such as $3-4 for an Inca cola. I guess it's pricey due to the importing.

Overall the presentation was nice. The taste was delicious. The service was good flavor.

My husband and I love this place. I'm not a huge seafood eater, so I usually get a non-seafood dish. Their tallarin saltado is amazing and has the perfect smokey flavor. My husband and his family (all Peruvians) have enjoyed every dish that he's tried from there. It was one of our go to places while we lived in the area and I'll surely miss it!

Service has always been fine for us. We were there yesterday and our waiter was good. The first time we went several years ago, the service was horrible but it seems to have been an isolated incident.
